A. Atelier Changyup Shin (AACS) is an architecture-based design atelier founded in New York City in 2021. Our diverse team of professionals, including architects, designers, and artists, combines their expertise and research on each project to deliver high-quality work with a careful approach and meticulous attention to detail.

We specialize in spatial design services, including architecture, interior design, and planning. Consulting services and coordination with overseas teams for clients and design professionals planning spaces in the United States are also available.

우리는 건축, 인테리어 디자인, 플래닝 등의 공간 디자인 서비스를 전문으로 제공합니다. 미국 내 공간을 기획하는 고객 및 디자인 전문가를 위해 컨설팅 서비스와 해외 팀과의 코디네이션도 제공하고 있습니다.

Changyup Shin AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C

The founding principal, Changyup Shin, is an architect with over 15 years of experience in the architecture and interior design fields. He is a registered architect in the states of New York and New Jersey, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and holds NCARB certification as well as LEED AP BD+C accreditation.

He earned Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design (MSAUD) from Columbia University in the City of New York. His professional experience includes world-renowned firm SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill), Cuningham Group, and David Bucovy Architect, where he has built a solid portfolio with diverse projects from an intimate café and restaurants in Manhattan to skyscrapers.

With extensive expertise as both a design architect and AOR, he brings a comprehensive understanding of the architectural process from initial space planning through construction completion.

Today, as the founding principal of A. Atelier Changyup Shin, he continues to lead the practice with a thoughtful approach.

창립자인 신창엽 대표는 건축 및 인테리어 디자인 분야에서 15년 이상의 경력을 가진 건축사입니다. 뉴욕과 뉴저지 주에 등록된 건축사로, 미국 건축가 협회 (AIA) 회원이며, NCARB 및 LEED AP BD+C 인증을 보유하고 있습니다.

그는 프랫 인스티튜트에서 건축학 학사 학위를, 뉴욕 컬럼비아 대학교에서 건축 및 도시 디자인 석사 학위 (MSAUD)를 취득했습니다. 실무 경력으로는 세계적으로 유명한 건축 설계 회사인 SOM (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill)을 비롯해 커닝햄 그룹, David Bucovy Architect를 포함하며, 맨해튼의 아늑한 카페와 레스토랑부터 초고층 타워에 이르기까지 다양한 프로젝트를 통해 탄탄한 포트폴리오를 구축했습니다.

신창엽은 건축 디자이너이자 AOR로서 풍부한 전문 지식을 바탕으로 초기 공간 기획부터 시공 완료까지 건축 과정에 대한 포괄적인 이해를 제공합니다.
